ArmInfo. 38.2 million drams will be allocated for the organization of two Armenian pavilions, which will open in the Avaza tourist zone in Turkmenistan as part of the CIS Heads of State Summit. The decision to this effect was made at a government meeting on October 8.

The justification for the draft decision notes that the funds will be used to properly represent the Republic of Armenia at the CIS Heads of State Summit, as well as to promote Armenian culture and culinary traditions. A grand gala concert featuring performance groups from CIS countries is planned to be held in Turkmenistan from October 6 to 9 as part of the summit. Pavilions representing CIS countries will be open during the exhibition portion of the event. The Republic of Armenia will be allocated two pavilions. The first pavilion will be informational, while the second pavilion will feature works by folk artists, Armenian carpets, an exhibition of national costumes, a photo zone, and traditional Armenian cuisine.

Armenia will be represented at the grand gala concert by a 21-person delegation, including the Gorovel Song and Dance Ensemble from Vanadzor. Chef Sedrak Mamulyan and his assistant will present Armenian culinary art. The official opening of the events will take place on October 8.
