In the regions of Armenia, 59% of transactions for the purchase and  sale of real estate fall on land, despite a significant decline in  activity

ArmInfo.In the regions of Armenia, in November 2020, 1,874 transactions for the purchase and sale of real estate were carried out, which is 43.7% lower than a  year ago, and 28% less than in October 2020.

In Yerevan, transactions for the purchase and sale of apartments have  significantly decreased, with a miserable decrease in prices

In Q3 of 2020, 981 real estate transactions were concluded by foreigners in Armenia, which is 41.9% lower in y-o-y terms (compared to the Q3 of 2019), but  twice as many compared to the previous quarter of this year.  According to the State Cadastre of Real Estate, in total, the share  of non-residents made 6.4% of the total volume of transactions fell  to, against 12.8% in the last year for the same period, and 5.9% in  the Q2 of this year.

According to the RA  Real Estate Cadastre State Committee, the dominant part (66.7%) was  made in Yerevan, and among the regions the most popular is Kotayk  (10.2%) and least of all Vayots Dzor (0.2%). Most of the mortgage  collateral transactions are made for apartments (270) and private  houses (83), and only 15 - on land plots.
