ArmInfo. Imprisoned businessman and leader of the "Prosperous Armenia" party, Gagik Tsarukyan, has highlighted the critical role of private enterprise in  the country's development while warning of growing vulnerabilities in external export markets. In a statement posted on his social media  page, Tsarukyan cautioned that Armenian goods are rapidly losing their footing abroad and being replaced by Azerbaijani alternatives.

ArmInfo.  An additional 2.641 billion drams will be allocated from the Government Reserve Fund to continue the efforts to host the 17th Conference of the  Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP-17) in  Armenia in 2026. The decision was made at a Cabinet meeting on August  13.

ArmInfo. Business entities will be allowed to import 300 tons of cocoa powder intended  for industrial processing from third countries at a zero customs duty  rate.  The decision was made at a government session.

ArmInfo.  Businesses that made export shipments in July of this year will receive 5.365  billion drams in financial assistance from the state budget,  following a decision adopted at a session of the Armenian Cabinet.

ArmInfo.The Armenian government  approved a 1.128 billion dram budget loan to "Meridian Holding" during its August 13 session.

ArmInfo.  Armenia will secure a 120 million euro loan from KfW Bank to finance the Caucasus Power Transmission Network project, which involves constructing the  Armenia-Georgia high-voltage power line. The loan agreement was  approved during the government session on August 13 and will be  submitted to the National Assembly for ratification in accordance  with established legislative procedures.

ArmInfo. President Ilham Aliyev's statement that Azerbaijani specialists have studied the possibility of laying new power transmission lines across Armenia  to secure electricity supplies fits entirely into the logic of the venture known as TRIPP. Moreover, this initiative is a risky venture exclusively for Armenia. Energy security expert Vahe Davtyan holds this view.
