ArmInfo. The first ore from the  Amulsar gold mine will be mined at the end of 2024. Hayk Aloyan, the  Executive Director of the Lydian Armenia company that developes the  mine, said in a conversation with the ArmInfo correspondent.

ArmInfo. Lydian Armenia will pay 75-100 million dollars to the state treasury every year in the form of taxes, duties and royalties. Hayk Aloyan Managing  Director of Lydian Armenia, which develops the Amulsar gold mine,  said in an interview with the Public Television of Armenia.

ArmInfo.The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) today announced the  completion of its participation in the development of the Amulsar  gold mine, the construction of which has been blocked by  environmental activists and residents of nearby communities for about  two years.

ArmInfo.Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of Armenia refused to discuss the issue on suspending the program of Amulsar gold deposit  development. A letter addressed to environmental and non-governmental  organizations of the country published on ecolur.org notes that the  right of using deposits can be suspended if the Natural Resources  Code is violated.

With the start of  construction works at Amulsar the Company  initiated a renovation and  refurbishment of the hospital in Vayk, one of the nearby towns of  Amulsar. This hospital has been identified as the most strategic  medical facility to serve the needs of the project in case of  emergency situations.

And we intend to win it through an open  and transparent dialogue, responsibility and modernization."

ArmInfo. Within the Amulsar gold mine acquisition framework Lydian Armenia Company  secured jobs for about 450 persons, 230 of which are the neighboring communities residents, and the main part are the habitants of Gndevaz community.  This was stated by Hayk ALoyan, the Executive Director of Lydian Armenia, during his working trip to Vayotz Dzor district.

The Executive Director Of Lydian Armenia Hayk Aloyan stated this on April 12, within the framework of work visit to Vayots Dzor region.

ArmInfo. Armenia's Ministry of Nature Protection and Lydian Armenia company have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation related to establishment of "Jermuk National Park" on December 12 in Yerevan. The memorandum is signed for 5 years and envisages investments amounting to $5.7 mln aimed at maintaining integrity of local ecosystems, developing eco- tourism and environmental agriculture.
