ArmInfo. The National Assembly  of Armenia elected Hasmik Ghahramanyan as a member of the Board of  the Central Bank. Chairman of the Counting Committee Vahagn  Hovakimyan stated this at the NA meeting.

ArmInfo. Ardshinbank faces changes - Vache Gabrielyan and  Dmitry Ladikov-Roev are included in the Board. This was reported to  ArmInfo in the press service of the bank. For two decades, Vache  Vazgenovich Gabrielyan held a number of senior executive positions in  state structures of Armenia, including the posts of RA Deputy Prime  Minister, Minister of Finance, Minister of International Integration  and Reforms, a member of the Central Bank Council, as well as Deputy  Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia. Currently, Vache Gabrielyan  is the dean of the College of Business and Economics at the American  University of Armenia.V. Gabrielyan graduated from the Faculty of  Economic Cybernetics of Yerevan State University with a degree in  economics and mathematics, as well as the Faculty of Public  Administration of Rutgers University (New Jersey, USA) with a degree  in Public Administration, where he received a Ph.D. He is the author  of a number of scientific papers published in Armenia and abroad.

ArmInfo.Former Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, former Minister of International Economic Integration and Reforms Vache Gabrielyan does not see any elements of  blackmail in the statements of large retail chains of the republic that the authorities' desire to return network supermarkets to the legitimate tax field can lead to higher prices and unemployment. "There are objective bases for raising prices, but to what extent  they will affect pricing, it is impossible to say today," Gabrielyan said in an interview with ArmInfo.

ArmInfo. The staff of the apparatus of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), headed by the head of the IMF mission to Armenia Hossein Samiye, visited Armenia on March 14-28 with the purpose of holding preliminary discussions on a new program of cooperation.  According to the information of the press-service of IMF  Armenian office, the  International Monetary Fund (IMF) staff team led by Mr. Hossein Samiei visited Yerevan during March 14-28 to conduct initial discussions on a possible new IMF arrangement with Armenia. In this context, the minister found it right to enrich  the flour with folic acid and iron in Armenia.

ArmInfo. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan held a meeting in his residence on the issue of raising prices for a number of goods in the country, with a view to discussing steps to mitigate the consequences of price increases.

ArmInfo. An  interdepartmental commission for cooperation with the European Union  will be established in Armenia. Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan  announced this on December 22 at a workshop dedicated to the  practical application of the Agreement on Comprehensive and Enhanced  Partnership. According to him, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of  Economic Integration and Reforms Vache Gabrielyan will head the  commission.

ArmInfo. EU-Assia Business Financing Center Company has never submitted a health program or a program for restarting the Yerevan-based Nairit chemical plant to the government of Armenia. The Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of the Republic of Armenia Ashot Manukyan stated this on December 6 from the rostrum of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, answering the question of Vahe Enfiadjian, a deputy of the parliament from the "Tsaroukyan Bloc" faction.

ArmInfo. Vice Prime Minister,  Minister of International Economic Integration and Reforms of Armenia  Vache Gabrielyan held a meeting with the Governor of the US State of  California, Jerry Brown, in San Francisco, USA. The parties agreed on  the process of signing a framework agreement on cooperation between  the Republic of Armenia and California.

ArmInfo. Armenia is ready to  deepen work with professionals from the Armenian Diaspora. Deputy  Prime Minister, Minister of International Economic Integration and  Reforms of Armenia Vache Gabrielyan stated this on September 20 in  Yerevan on the margins of the "Armenia-Diaspora" Forum.

ArmInfo. On August 24, within the framework of the International Exhibition Forum "Eurasian Week", which is being held in Astana, the export-credit agencies (ECA) of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

ArmInfo. Under the decision of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission, the international forum "Eurasian Week" in 2018 will be held in Yerevan. The current forum will be held on August 24-26 within the framework of the World Expo-2017 in Astana. The program of the forum includes 30 discussion events on 13 sectors of the economy, which are of strategic importance for the common market of the Union.
