Threshold for duty-free online trade to be lowered from Apr 1

ArmInfo. From April 1, 2024, the threshold for duty-free import of goods in Armenia will be lowered to  200 euros (about 85 thousand drams) against the current 200 thousand drams, reports the press service of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

Armenia`s GDP growth slowed to 8.7% in 2023

ArmInfo. Armenia's GDP growth slowed down to 8.7% in 2023 (from 12.6% in 2022), amounting to 9.503  trillion drams ($24.2 billion). The GDP deflator index also decreased - to 102.8% from 108% in 2022, according to the data of the RA Statistical Committee published on February 20.

ArmInfo. At the end of 2023, 4.4 million technical (synthetic) and natural, rough and processed diamonds were  exported from Armenia, almost twice as much as a year ago. Arevik Margaryan, Head of the Department of Strategic Sector of the Ministry of Economy, informs.
