ArmInfo.The interim results of the work carried out in 2020 under the Life Extension  Program of the second power unit of the Armenian NPP, and the work  plan for the modernization of equipment and systems for 2021 became  the subject of a video conference meeting held the day before.  According to the press service of the Armenian NPP, Acting Director  General of ANPP Eduard Martirosyan and Director General of Rusatom  Service Yevgeny Salkov made an introductory speech.

ArmInfo.The extension of the program to extend the service life of the second unit of the  Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (ANPP) until the end of 2021 is a normal  practice. On November 27, Evgeny Salkov, CEO of Rusatom Service, told  a question to ArmInfo in an interview with journalists.

ArmInfo. Under the chairmanship  of the Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of  the Republic of Armenia Ashot Manukyan, a working meeting was held at  the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant on June 13, in which Alexey  Likhachev, Director General of the State Corporation Rosatom,  participated.

ArmInfo. Armenian Nuclear Power  Plant is the source of cheapest energy power processing in the  country, and which is why its role is hard to overestimate from the  point of view of possibilities of economy development. This was  stated by Armenian Finance Minister Vardan Aramyan during the  conversation with ArmInfo's correspondent. 

ArmInfo. The second stage of  implementation of program on extending life of Armenian NPP is to  start in May 2017. This was announced during April 4 meeting in the  Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of the  Republic of Armenia. According to the press service of the Ministry,  during the meeting the first stage of implementation was discussed  and also the preparation to the second stage. Instructions, received  during last meeting were presented. 

ArmInfo. This March is the 3rd year from moment the Armenian Government took decision to modernize the 2nd unit of the NPP. The project for extending the exploitation of the unit No. 2 is being implemented by the subsidiary of the State Corporation "Rosatom" JSC "Rusatom Service".

ArmInfo. Ashot Manoukyan,  the Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of  Armenia received on November 2   , the Deputy Directo General of  Rosatom   Kirill Komarov and the   Director General of Rusatom  Service Yevgeni Salkov, who arrived in Yerevan to participate in the  third session on Coordination Committee on the Armenian NPP 2nd Unit  Lifetime Extension Project.  

ArmInfo. On December 2, the  Joint Coordination Committee on Armenian NPP Unit 2 Lifetime  Extension Project held its third meeting. Rusatom Service has told  ArmInfo that representatives of Rosatom State Corporation, Armenian  Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources, Armenian  Government's Committee on Nuclear Safety Regulation, attended the  meeting.
