ArmInfo.At the Armenian NPP (ANPP) one of the most  important activities of outage-2021 has started. The joint efforts of  the specialists of "NVAER" company (a branch of   JSC)  engaged by JSC,  and of the Armenian NPP were  directed towards the recovery of physical-mechanical properties of  the reactor vessel metal.

ArmInfo. The activities on assembling the facility for recovery annealing of the ANPP Unit 2 reactor vessel metal have been completed.  These activities were  performed by the specialists of the Novovoronezhatomenergoremont  company of the Russian Federation.    

ArmInfo. The preparatory  activities for annealing of the reactor vessel metal are started at  the ANPP in the framework of the contract concluded with the Rusatom  Service JSC, the press service of ANPP reports.

ArmInfo. An installation for the reduction annealing (heat treatment) of the reactor vessel metal was delivered to the Armenian NPP. The plant will be prepared  for the final part of the work on extending the service life, which  will take place in 2021 - the reactor will be annealed, which will  return it to its original state by 80-85%.

The stop of the second power unit of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant for scheduled preventive repairs is scheduled for May 15, 2020 and will last 65  days.  Hakob Vardanyan, Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration  and Infrastructures, told reporters about this on November 10 during  a visit to the ANPP.

ArmInfo. Over the coming  two years work on the development of a large-scale simulator for the  Armenian nuclear power plant will be completed. Vahram Petrosyan,  Director General of the Research Institute for the Operation of  Nuclear Power Plants (Armatom), announced this on September 26 at the  press conference in Yerevan.

The event was attended by experts, staff of universities and research institutes, journalists of national media, as well as representatives of youth organizations of Armenia. The event was organized by the Russian State Corporation Rosatom within the framework of the long-term and fruitful cooperation of Russia and Armenia in the field of nuclear energy.
