ArmInfo.The Export Insurance Agency of Armenia (ESIA) celebrates its 10th anniversary with the launch of a new third service: insurance for financing capital investments for the organization and development of export-oriented industries.

ArmInfo. For the first time, the "Big Three" international rating agencies Moody's Investors Service, Standard & Poor's and Fitch Ratings simultaneously published a report on Armenia. RA Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan stated this at  a government session on October 14.

ArmInfo. On July 4, HSBC Bank Armenia, together with the Export Insurance Agency of Armenia (EIAA), held a business breakfast with business representatives - importers  and exporters, during which discussions were held on the theme  "Stimulating Trade Finance in Armenia".

HSBC Bank Armenia signed  a memorandum of cooperation with the Export Insurance Agency of  Armenia (EIAA).As stated in the official report of the EIAA, within  the framework of the memorandum, the parties will unite efforts to  stimulate exports, increase production volumes of economic  entities-residents of the Republic of Armenia and introduce joint  financial services.

ArmInfo.According to the results of the activities of the Export Insurance Agency of Armenia (EIAA), in 2018 a significant increase in indicators was registered.  This was reported by the press service of the Agency.

ArmInfo.IDBank and Export Insurance Agency of Armenia (EIAA ICJSC) signed a memorandum of cooperation with the aim of helping to increase production and export  volumes and develop the business environment. As the press service of  the Bank told ArmInfo, the document was signed by the acting Chairman  of the Board of IDBank Ruben Melikyan and Chairman of the  Directorate, Executive Director of EIAA Armen Shahnazaryan.

ArmInfo. The Minister of  Economic Development and Investments of Armenia Artsvik Minasyan met  on September 4 with Audrius Rosinasi, the chief insurance officer of  the well-known insurance brokerage company "Malakut-Trade Credit  Insurance" Magnus Nigzhet, Swiss Swiss Reinsurance Company Ltd. As  the press service of the ministry told ArmInfo, the parties discussed  prospects for expanding cooperation.

ArmInfo. The Export Insurance  Agency of Armenia (EIAA) and the German Development Bank KfW are  considering cooperation opportunities. This was announced during the  July 3 meeting of the Executive Director, Chairman of the Directorate  of the Export Insurance Agency of Armenia Armen Shahnazaryan with the  head of the programs of the German Development Bank KfW Monica  Gunther and the senior coordinator of the programs of the KfW Yerevan  office Bella Sedrakyan.

ArmInfo. Following the results of 2017, the insurance portfolio of SJSC "Export Insurance Agency of Armenia" totaled 4.534 billion drams, while the final figure was planned at 3 billion drams (in 2016 the figure reached 2.185 billion drams, and in 2015 it was 0, 39 billion).  Armen Shahnazaryan, Executive Director of the EIAA, told a press conference on March 22 when answering the question of ArmInfo. Previously, the government of Armenia in its program of activities for 2017-2022. according to the results of 2018, it fixed expectations of growth of insured transactions to almost 4.5 billion drams.

ArmInfo. Armenian Export Insurance Agency (AEIA) and Converse Bank CJSC signed a memorandum on cooperation to implement a program aimed at increasing the production of economic entities resident in Armenia, export development and expansion of sales markets.

ArmInfo. The Armenian government in its new and already approved program of own activities for upcoming  5-year term,  based on indicative results of 2018 recorded a two-fold increase in insured transactions of  "Export Insurance Agency of Armenia" ICJSC- almost up to 4.5 billion AMD. At the same time, as of August 31, 2017, the insurance portfolio of the Agency already amounted AMD  2.594 . Armen Shahnazaryan,  the Executive Director of the EIAA ICJSC, spoke in an exclusive interview about the Agency's achievements and tasks, plans and reality.

ArmInfo. On August 24, within the framework of the International Exhibition Forum "Eurasian Week", which is being held in Astana, the export-credit agencies (ECA) of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

ArmInfo. CJSC Export Insurance Agency (ESA) issued another export insurance certificate to IT company Qube, which will allow the company to avoid the risk of non- payment of expected revenues from the sale of mobile applications, in parallel with what will allow to claim unsecured financing under a simplified scheme and acceptable interest rates. ArmInfo was informed about this by the press service of the EIA.

ArmInfo. The Minister of Economic Development and Investments of the Republic of Armenia, the Chairman of the Council of the "Export Insurance Agency of Armenia" Suren Karayan visited the organization on August 11, familiarized with the upcoming programs.

ArmInfo. Armenian commercial  banks began to show an increased interest in cooperation with the  Export Insurance Agency of Armenia (EIAA), Executive Director of EIAA  Vazgen Abgaryan told ArmInfo correspondent.

ArmInfo. If there is an  insurance policy of the Export Insurance Agency of Armenia (EIAA),  Armenian exporters can obtain financial factoring at 8 commercial  banks at affordable interest rates, without collateral and on  favorable terms.

ArmInfo. Within the framework  of the "Pre-Export Financing" service of the Export Insurance Agency  of Armenia (EIAA), five export-oriented enterprises of the country  received financing for a total of 600 million AMD. On April 11, in an  interview with ArmInfo correspondent, the Executive Director of EIAA  Vazgen Abgaryan said, noting that 4 more applications are under  consideration.

ArmInfo. From the point of  view of fulfillment of obligations under export contracts, the  Armenian producers and exporters of the USA, Germany, Italy and  France were the most unfair. The Executive Director of the Export  Insurance Agency of Armenia (ESAA) Vazgen Abagryan expressed this  opinion on April 11 during a press conference. "These are the most  developed countries, but according to our statistics, however it was  illogical, it was the companies of these countries that turned out to  be the most unscrupulous," he stressed.

ArmInfo. The Export Insurance  Agency of Armenia (EIAA) intends to increase its portfolio by 50% in  2017. The executive director of the EIAA Vazgen Abgaryan, noting that  in 2016 the agency's portfolio amounted to 3 billion AMD, announced  this on April 11 at the press conference.
