ArmInfo.The Armenian government will provide benefits to GNC Alfa (a subsidiary of Rostelecom). The draft decision "On the approval and promotion of the investment  program presented by GNC-Alfa CJSC within the framework of the  "Infrastructure in exchange for investment" measure was approved on  August 3 at a meeting of the Cabinet.

ArmInfo. "Rostelecom" decided to actively develop the Armenian GNC-Alfa operator, the issue of sale  was removed from the agenda. This, as reported by Interfax, was reported to journalists by president of the largest Russian telecom operator, Mikhail Oseevsky.

ArmInfo.The sell of the Armenian company GNC-Alfa CJSC, which represents the brand of the Russian telecommunications giant Rostelecom in the country, did not take  place, and the prospect of selling the company is uncertain. This is  reported by CivilNet, pointing out that the reason for the failure is  the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, or rather, Western sanctions against  Russian companies that did not allow the buyer to attract credit  resources and make payments to close the deal.

ArmInfo.The RA Public Service Regulatory Commission approved on January 19 the sale of the 100% shares of Filor Ventures Limited, the only stockholder of Rostelecom  Armenia, (GNC-Alfa, daughter company of Rostelecom), to Molitro  Holdings Limited (Cyprus) founded by RA citizen Arman Hunanyan and  the Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC. 

ArmInfo. Four Armenian telecom operators increased tax payments to state treasury in the first quarter of 2020 in 2.6 times - up to 8.1 billion drams. In  particular, 16.2 million drams were paid on customs duties during the  reporting period, 7.1 billion drams on direct taxes (including income  tax, income tax), and indirect taxes (including VAT, excise tax) tax)  - 3.1 billion drams. This is evidenced by the list of the largest  taxpayers of Armenia published by the RA State Revenue Committee.

The four  communications services providers of Armenia for the first 9 months  of 2018 paid a total of 16.4 billion drams or $ 34 million to the  state budget as taxes, which is 16.3% less than a year ago. Of this  amount, 7.2 billion was received by the state treasury on direct  taxes (including income tax, tax on profit) and 8.4 billion on  indirect taxes (including VAT, excise tax). This is evidenced by the  data published by the State Revenue Committee of Armenia.
