ArmInfo.In Armenia, there were 4,413 real estate purchase and sale transactions  carried out by foreign citizens in 2025, a 13.4% increase compared to 2024.  According to data from the State Committee of the Real Estate  Cadastre of the Republic of Armenia, foreigners accounted for 7.4% of the total number of transactions (compared to 6.7% in 2024).

Emerging stagnation of apartment prices in Yerevan fueling  double-digit growth in sales transactions

ArmInfo. At the end of 2025, the mortgage portfolio in Armenia amounted to 1.6 trillion drams ($4.2 billion), a 13.2% increase from the previous year, as stated by Daniel Azatyan, Chairman of the Union of Banks of Armenia (UBA) noted during a press conference on February 17. According to Azatyan, mortgages thus accounted for 21.3% of the total loan portfolio of the Armenian banking system.

Austrian alliance: GRAWE Group takes control of LIGA Insurance to build regional hub

ArmInfo. The Austrian  financial concern GRAWE Group and C-Quadrat Investment Group   acquired 100% of the shares of LIGA Insurance. The deal was approved  by the Central Bank of Armenia on January 30, 2020. During a press  conference on February 3, Central Bank Chairman Martin Galstyan noted  that the deal was preceded by eighteen months of negotiations and  collaboration.  As noted, the company will retain the name LIGA  Insurance for now, but with the branding "Member of GRAWE Group": 75%  Equity: LIGA GRAWE Group and 25% Equity: C-Quadrat Investment Group.
