ArmInfo. In 2024-2026, the American company Contour Global Hydro Cascade will invest AMD 5.527  bln in the modernization of the Vorotan HPP cascade in Armenia. The Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) approved the company's investment program at a meeting on September 25th.

ArmInfo. Contour Global Hydro Cascade will make additional AMD 27.5 billion drams investmen in the modernization of its Vorotan Cascade of Hydroelectric Power  Plants in Armenia. At the October 10 meeting, the Government of the  Republic of Armenia approved the company's application for exemption  from customs payments for imported equipment.

This was stated on May 17  on the margins of a  day-long conference organized by the U.S. Embassy in Yerevan, in  partnership with the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources and the  firm Contour Global, Hayk Haroutyunyan, the Deputy Minister for  Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources.  Representatives from  some of the top U.S. renewable energy companies to met with 70  Armenian businesses to discuss how they can best partner.
