ArmInfo. Armenia has appealed to the World Bank with a request to extend the "Armenia Extractive  Industries Transparency Initiative Support: Additional Financing" program. The corresponding draft decree of the RA President was approved at a government meeting on May 2.

ArmInfo. Daily tax losses of Artsakh due to the blockade of the Lachin (Berdzor) corridor, the only road connecting the republic with Armenia and the outside world, are estimated at 81 million drams or $204 thousand (395.9 drams per $), of which about 35 million drams are payments of mining enterprises. ArmInfo. In Armenia, specific processes are underway to disclose the names of real owners of mining enterprises. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced on May 16 at a press conference dedicated to 100 facts about the new Armenia,   answering a question from journalists.  < We have not put off this  issue. The process is ongoing and will be completed. There is no  other alternative>, he stressed. In this regard, the Prime Minister  recalled legislative changes, the entry into force of which obliged  business entities to submit the names of real owners by February 20,  2020.

ArmInfo.The launch of digital traceability of goods in the Eurasian space must be started as soon as possible in order to overcome the existing distrust  between the EAEU countries, which negatively affects the development  of integration processes.

This was announced on November 12 on the sidelines of the  international forum "Anti- Counterfeiting-2019" to the Minister of  Internal Markets, Informatization, Information and Communication  Technologies of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Karine  Minasyan.

Karine Minasyan, Minister for Domestic Markets,  Informatization, Information and Communication Technologies of the  Eurasian Economic Commission, told reporters on November 12, on the  sidelines of the international Anti-Counterfeiting-2019 international  forum opened in Yerevan.

ArmInfo. The 7th International Anti-Counterfeit-2019 International Forum will be held in Yerevan from November 12 to 13, 2019, dedicated to the problems of combating  illegal trade in industrial products, including the protection of  intellectual property rights.

ArmInfo. In the first half of 2020, it is planned to complete work on the development of a strategy for the mining industry. Deputy Minister of Territorial  Administration announced this on October 22 from the rostrum of the  Parliament and Infrastructure Lilia Shushanyan, who in the first  reading introduced amendments to the Subsoil Code and the package of  related laws.
