ArmInfo.  The share of Armenian cognacs with violations found on the Russian market decreased from 90% in August 2024 to 80% in May 2025, as stated in a message from the International Anti-Counterfeiting Association.

ArmInfo. Almost the entire  flow of counterfeit and fake goods passes through Georgia in transit, as  noted  in a statement by the International Anti-Counterfeit Association. According to their estimates, around  60% of all counterfeit, low-quality goods from these countries pass through Georgia, including alcohol, clothing, footwear, dietary supplements, plant protection products and other consumer goods. To address this  issue, the Anti-Counterfeit Association is collaborating with the Georgian-Russian Business Association.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced on May 16 at a press conference dedicated to 100 facts about the new Armenia,   answering a question from journalists.  < We have not put off this  issue. The process is ongoing and will be completed. There is no  other alternative>, he stressed. In this regard, the Prime Minister  recalled legislative changes, the entry into force of which obliged  business entities to submit the names of real owners by February 20,  2020.
