The overall budget of the program is USD149,000, of which USD105,500 is provided by HSBC Group. |

ArmInfo."HSBC Bank Armenia" CJSC (HSBC Armenia) will donate 150 sets of computer workstations to students in socially vulnerable communities in Armenia to support their remote learning needs amidst COVID-19 and beyond. The workstations will be given to HSBC Armenia's charity partner Jinishian Memorial Foundation, which will help identify and select the final beneficiaries and distribute the workstations to them. |

At this background event was held in Yerevan on July 29 attached to the opportunities being provided in case of receiving S&P rating by real and financial sectors of the country. Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia Nerses Yeritsyan presented the bank in the event, CEO Paul Edgar presented HSBC Bank Armenia and S&P was presented by the Director of corporate ratings for S&P Global Alexander Gryaznov. |

ArmInfo. This year HSBC celebrates its 20th anniversary in Armenia. In March twenty years ago HSBC opened for business in the country, representing one of the largest foreign investments in the country at that time. Having started in 1996 with under 100 clients, 18 employees, assets of US$5 million, one office and the first two ATMs in the country, the bank has established a successful and growing business. Today HSBC Armenia has more than 33 thousand customers, around 400 employees working in ten branches and offices in Yerevan and has grown assets to US$569 million. The bank has one of the largest networks of 51 ATMs located throughout the city. |
