CBA Governor: Armenia consistently develops money market instruments

ArmInfo. The pyramidal approach to developing financial markets relies on a clear hierarchical order. Development should start with short-term instruments, particularly those in the money market. Once this segment is well established, focus can shift to the foreign exchange market. Only after consolidating these areas should attention turn to long-term instruments, including government  debt and corporate securities.

The Central Bank of Armenia has introduced ASDA standards

ArmInfo. With the technical assistance of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the financial support of the Government of Japan, the Central Bank is introducing a contract governed by Armenian law and aligned with international standards — the Armenian Standard Derivatives Agreement (ASDA) — which may be applied to repo, derivatives, and securities lending transactions.

Central Bank of Armenia: ISDA trademark protection extended to   Republic of Armenia

ArmInfo.  According to the decision adopted by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) on November 13, 2025, the protection of the ISDA trademark has  been extended to the territory of the Republic of Armenia. This  announcement was made by the Central Bank of Armenia made this  announcement, clarifying that the extension of ISDA trademark  protection in the Republic of Armenia ensures legal clarity and  alignment with international standards.
