ArmInfo.  Armenian authorities want to modernize the tools of the Productivity Enhancement Target Program. At a meeting on May 21, the RA government amended its decision of March 26, 2020.

ArmInfo. With hundreds of visitors and strong interest in energy-efficient equipment leasing at the three-day Leasing Expo 2026 held at the Meridian Expo Center, the pavilion of AraratBank’s pavilion drew the attention of both potential and existing customers. AraratBank offered leasing for renewable energy sources and energy-efficient equipment under attractive terms.

This was stated by Deputy Minister of  Economy of Armenia Anushik Avetyan and a delegation led by Gabidulla  Ospankulov, Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Ministry of  Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

ArmInfo. About 89% of the leasing portfolio provided by Armenian banks is subsidized by the state in terms of interest rates, as stated by Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan  at the opening of the LEASING EXPO 2026 exhibition, citing data from the Credit Registry.

ArmInfo. Armenian authorities are implementing several major agricultural risk insurance programs. Minister of Economy Gevork Papoyan shared this information during a government hour in the National Assembly on  March 4.

ArmInfo. In Armenia, state-funded agricultural programs will not be subject to profit tax, but will be assessed as assets in constructed buildings and  infrastructure. At its February 27 meeting, the National Assembly's Committee on Economic Affairs approved the Tax Code amendments  submitted by the Armenian government for the second reading.

ArmInfo. Exports of goods of Armenian origin have increased more than 2.2 times compared to 2017. Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan announced this on his Facebook page.

ArmInfo. Converse Bank has successfully completed the initial placement of Armleasing's debut dram-denominated  bonds worth 1 billion drams in just one day, as noted in a statement issued by Converse Bank, the underwriter of the issue.

ArmInfo.Armenia's average annual GDP growth in 2021-2025 (calculated for 2025) reached approximately 8.13%, surpassing the government's  target of 7.0%  for 2021-2026.  Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan presented these figures to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a meeting  at the  Ministry  to discuss the ministry's 2025 performance report.

ArmInfo.Armenian airlines that were previously unable to take advantage of the "air tax" exemption will now be eligible. At its January 14 meeting, the  National Assembly's Committee on Economic Affairs approved the draft amendments to the Law "On State Duty," submitted by the Armenian  government for the first reading.

ArmInfo.  The Armenian government is changing the procedure for conducting electronic  auctions and alienating property. The decision was approved by the  Cabinet of Ministers on December 11.

ArmInfo. Acba bank and Proparco, a subsidiary of the French Development Agency (AFD) Group, together with the Governor of the Central Bank of Armenia, Martin Galstyan, reviewed the achievements of their cooperation to date and discussed future plans.

ArmInfo.  Acba bank and Proparco, a subsidiary of the Agence française de développement group (AFD), celebrate the first anniversary of their cooperation. One year ago, Proparco became a shareholder of Acba bank by acquiring a 10% stake. This strategic investment has reinforced Acba’s capital base, enabling the bank to strengthen its leadership in agricultural financing and to further establish itself as a systemic financial institution in the country.

At its November 5 meeting, the National Assembly's Committee on Economic Affairs approved the amendments to the Law "On Real Estate Activity" and a package of related documents submitted by the Armenian government for the second reading.
