As the chief specialist in diary sector, PhD in Technical Science Konstantin Obyedkov noted Roquefort cheese was produced in Armenia between 1940 and 1990. Ashtarak Kat Company has initiated restarting the production of blue mold cheese of Roquefort type under "MolderBlue" brand.
