Team Telecom Armenia continues to provide access to a new generation network to all  residents of Armenia: the construction of an advanced NGN network with a capacity of 25 Gb/s has been completed in the city of Ashtarak, Aragatsotn region. According to the company's press  service, the NGN network, which provides astronomical speed of the Internet, is now available to more than 8,000 households in the city of Ashtarak.

ArmInfo. According to preliminary calculations, the list of potential exports from Kazakhstan to Armenia amounts to more than 125 processed goods worth $350 million, Kazakh Minister of Trade and Integration Arman  Shakkaliev stated at the opening of the Armenian-Kazakh business forum, which was held in Yerevan on April 9.

The transaction to acquire 90% of the shares of Ameriabank by the BOGG PLC international financial group, the main asset of which was Bank of Georgia, was completed last Friday.  Now a second major asset in the form of Ameriabank has joined the Group. As previously reported, the total transaction amount was $303.6 million.

ArmInfo.Service sector of Armenia provided revenue in the amount of 473.1 billion drams in Jan-Feb 2024 ($1.2 billion), slowing down in y-o-y growth from 23.5% to 5.2%. This is evidenced by data from the RA Statistical Committee, according to which in February alone, the service sector showed a decline of 0.3% - to 236.2 billion drams ($584.2 million).

ArmInfo.The common energy markets of the EAEU have great potential for successfully confronting  the main challenges in the energy sector in the Eurasian space. This was stated by the director of the energy department of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Vadim Zakrevsky, at the round table "Economic  and legal regulation in the energy sector", held in Kazan as part of the Tatarstan International Forum on Energy and Energy and Resource Efficiency.

ArmInfo. Metallurgical industry of Armenia increased production volumes by 37% per annum in Jan-Fe  2024 (versus a 31% decline a year earlier). This is evidenced by the data of the RA Statistical Committee.
