ArmInfo.The World Bank improved its forecast for GDP growth in Armenia for 2019 - 5.5% with a slowdown in 2020 to 5.1%, and by 2021 the expected growth rate was
maintained - 5.2%. Earlier, in the June forecast, the World Bank's
expectations for Armenia's GDP growth for 2019 and 2020 were lower -
4.2% and 4.9%, respectively. An updated forecast was published in the
World Bank's October report-economic review "Migration and Brain
Drain. World Bank Europe and Central Asia Economic Update".

ArmInfo.The gross international reserves of Armenia (VMR) by September 2019 reached $ 2.298 billion, of which $ 2.296 billion are external assets in hard currency, and $ 2 million is the share of SDR in the IMF. 6.6%), and for 2020, GDP growth is expected in the range of 4.2-5.9%
(5% in average) compared to the previous 4.5-5.0% (average 4.7%).
This is set out in the Central Bank's monetary policy program for the
Q3 of 2019, published at the end of September.

ArmInfo.Armenia's GDP grew by 20.6% in the 2nd quarter of 2019, and by 6.5% year-on-year, against the 7.2% y-o-y growth in the same period of 2018. According to the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia, in the first half of 2019, GDP amounted to 2.7 trillion drams or $ 5.6 billion (against 2.5 trillion drams or $ 5.1 billion a year earlier). Of this amount, 56% or 1.5 trillion drams ($ 3.1 billion) were ensured in the II quarter of 2019. The GDP deflator index in the second quarter of 2019 amounted to 102.3%, against 104.4% in the second quarter of 2018.
