ArmInfo.In the summer of 2022, the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia appealed to the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia with a call to ensure the regulation of the cryptosector. Such a need, as noted then by head of the Committee Rustam Badasyan, arose due to cases of tax evasion in this field, money laundering and other risk factors.

ArmInfo.On 30 December 2022, the Council of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) unanimously approved a redistribution of the Bank's charter capital among its  member states.  According to the Bank's press service, a portion  comprising 321,151 shares held by the Russian Federation in the  Bank's paid-in capital has been evenly distributed among the other  member states and, as a result, the Russian Federation's stake in the  EDB has decreased from 65.9761% to 44.7878%.

ArmInfo.Armenia's gross international reserves (GIR) decreased in November 2022 by 3.2% or $115.1 million (against a 5.5% decline in November 2021), amounting  to $3.518 billion, thereby continuing to move down from the  historical maximum recorded in September. In parallel with this, the  y-o-y growth of gross international reserves slowed down  significantly - from 33% to 16.2% (or by $491.7 million in November  2022 compared to November 2021).
