ArmInfo.Armenian Nuclear Power Plant intends to complete the program of modernization of the second power unit without the participation of Rosatom State  Corporation.

This was announced by Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia Hakob Vardanyan during his visit to the station.

ArmInfo.The implementation of the modernization program of the second power unit of the Armenian nuclear power plant will lead to an increase in plant capacity by  10%. On this April 18 from the rostrum of the parliament said the  acting Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of  the Republic of Armenia Garegin Baghramyan.

ArmInfo.The implementation of the program to extend the life of the second power unit of the Armenian NPP will be extended by 1-1.5 years. Chairman of the Board  of Directors of Armenian NPP CJSC, General Director of Scientific  Research Institute ARMATOM CJSC, Doctor of Technical Sciences,  Professor Vahram Petrosyan stated in a conversation with the ArmInfo  correspondent.
