ArmInfo.Armenian Evocabank, through the issue of shares in the amount of 2.050 billion AMD, replenished the authorized capital, bringing it to 20 billion AMD ($  41.1 million). Thus, the share of NPL in the loan portfolio changed in Q2 from 8% to 8.3%,  and in assets from 5.2% to 6.3%, against 9.2% and 5.9%, respectively,  recorded a year earlier. This was observed against the backdrop of  accelerating y-o-y growth in loan investments from 11% to 19% and a  slowdown in asset growth from 17% to 14%, with strongly weakened  quarterly growth in both cases.

ArmInfo.In the Q1 of 2020, premiums of Armenian insurance companies decrease due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. According to the Financial Rating of Armenian Insurance Companies prepared by ArmInfo IC, premiums fell by 4.2% y-o-y against 17.6% last year. The decrease in the volume of collected premiums was accompanied by a significant slowdown in the  growth of insurance payments - up to 5.8% compared to last year's  13.3%.

The assets of the banking system of Armenia slowed down annual growth from 16.1% to 15.3%, amounting to 5.9 trillion drams ($ 11.7 billion) as of April 1, 2020.  According to the Express-Ranking of Banks of Armenia, prepared by ArmInfo IC, in their structure credit investments and other loans  reached 3.8 trillion drams ($ 7.5 billion), with annual growth  accelerating from 16.2% to 20.4%.

ArmInfo. In 2019, the NPL level in the total loan portfolio of Armenian banks decreased from 9.5% to 8%, and in assets from 6.2% to 5.1%. At the same time, the volume of  overdue loans for the reporting year remained almost unchanged, while  the amount of healthy (standard) loans began to grow more slowly. In  their structure, over 62% are non-performing and doubtful loans  groups, and the dominant of the latter does not decrease.
