Nurse, will support Armenia in reviewing  and analyzing country's legislative and institutional framework  ensuring its compliance with Extractive Industries Transparency  Initiative (EITI) Standard for producing Armenia's first EITI report  .

ArmInfo. Lydian Armenia,  which launched the program to operate the Amoulsar gold mine, made a  presentation on August 31, presenting its first annual report on  sustainable development enterprises with the goal of restoring public  confidence in the mining industry. In a welcome speech the company's  general director Hayk Aloyan noted: "Today, the mining sector is  devoid of high confidence. And we intend to win it through an open  and transparent dialogue, responsibility and modernization."

ArmInfo. During the plenary  meeting of VI International Forum "Anti-Counterfeiting-2016", Russian  Minister of Trade and Industry Denis Manturov and Armenian Minister  of Economic Development and Investments Suren Karayan signed a  statement to combat illicit turnover of industrial products and to  promote integration cooperation.  

ArmInfo. Renewable energy development program will be developed in Armenia by 2017 and its implementation will start from 2018, reads the program of the government, which will be presented to the Armenian parliament on October 20.

According to the Assessment report conducted by the World Bank mining industry in Armenia depends on operation of one big company, said Kirsten Hund, Senior Mining Specialist at the World Bank, in this context pointing to Zangezur Copper- Molybdenum Complex. She made the remarks during the event attached to the launch of the Armenia Strategic Mineral Sector Sustainability Assessment, organized by the World Bank.
