ArmInfo. Armswissbank's dollar-denominated bonds, the placement of which by open subscription started on June 1, sold up to $ 10 million in full. According to the  press service of the bank, it was originally planned to complete the  placement of this tranche before July 1.

As the press service of the bank told ArmInfo, the bonds of this issue  (AMSWISB2CER2) were placed at the Stock Exchange of Armenia as a  result of which the bonds with a nominal value of AMD 9,700 bln were  fully placed, demand exceeded supply by almost 14%.

The assets of the banking system of Armenia slowed down annual growth from 16.1% to 15.3%, amounting to 5.9 trillion drams ($ 11.7 billion) as of April 1, 2020.  According to the Express-Ranking of Banks of Armenia, prepared by ArmInfo IC, in their structure credit investments and other loans  reached 3.8 trillion drams ($ 7.5 billion), with annual growth  accelerating from 16.2% to 20.4%.

And the total volume of plastic transactions, almost  repeating the pace of last year (24.5% for 9 months of 2018), grew by  24% per annum for 9 months of 2019, exceeding 1.7 trillion drams.  This is evidenced by the data of the Central Bank of Armenia.

ArmInfo. In January-September 2019, the banking system of Armenia sent 42.3  billion drams in taxes to the state treasury, which is 10% higher  than a year ago. Of this amount, 94.5% or 40 billion drams were paid  on direct taxes (including profit tax, income tax), with y-o-y growth  of 15.9%.

ArmInfo. According to the results of 9 months of 2019, the net profit of the banking system of Armenia amounted to 60.9 billion drams or $ 128 million. The annual  growth of this indicator slowed down to 17.7% from last year's 81.3%.  According to the Express Ranking of Banks of Armenia prepared by  ArmInfo IC as of September 30, 2019 for the Q3 alone net profit  growth turned out to be meager - 0.8%, which is nevertheless better  than the dynamics of the same quarter of last year, when a decline of  6.9% was recorded.

Of this amount, over 95.2% or 28 billion drams  were paid on direct taxes (incl. profit tax and income tax), with an  YOYgrowth of 16.2%.
