ArmInfo. Lydian Armenia,  which launched the program to operate the Amoulsar gold mine, made a  presentation on August 31, presenting its first annual report on  sustainable development enterprises with the goal of restoring public  confidence in the mining industry. In a welcome speech the company's  general director Hayk Aloyan noted: "Today, the mining sector is  devoid of high confidence. And we intend to win it through an open  and transparent dialogue, responsibility and modernization."

ArmInfo. From June 29 to July 8, the annual summer innovation camp "DigiCamp" and the technological camp "ArMat", organized by the Union of Information Technology Enterprises of Armenia, was held in Armenian Hanqavan. This year 8 children participated in them - students of the village of Kechut of the Vayozdzor region and the engineering laboratory of the educational complex of the resort town of Jermuk. The engineering laboratories were founded with the assistance of Lydian Armenia in the spring of 2017, and under the program, 8 students from the newly created laboratories participated in the summer camp Zepyur in hanqavan.

ArmInfo. The developing of Amulsar  golden deposit is one of the largest investment projects in Armenia. This was stated by  Hayk Aloyan, the General Executive  of Lydian Armenia to  Suren Karayan, the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia.

ArmInfo. "In our programs, all  investment programs and expectations are clearly spelled out," Prime  Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan said in an interview with  Austrian radio, referring to sources of the expected investment of $  3.2 billion. In particular, as Premier reminded, in the coming years  investments are planned for An amount of $ 3.2 billion from five main  sources: private business investment, loans, donor programs, the  state budget, regional budgets. "As early as 2017, we consider  realistic the implementation of projects for a total amount of $  830-840 million," he said.

ArmInfo. Lydian company?s formed consultative group, which works on Independent Advisory Panel monitoring of Amulsar, will gather 3 times a year, John Hacker, the Head of the group stated to ArmInfo during the discussions of the project on May 5, who visited Armenia for 3 days.

ArmInfo. The Government of Armenia delayed VAT payment for imported goods for three years for "Lydian Armenia", for the period from 14 April 2017 to 31 December 2018. The project was approved during the April 20 Governmental meeting.

ArmInfo. Within the Amulsar gold mine acquisition framework Lydian Armenia Company  secured jobs for about 450 persons, 230 of which are the neighboring communities residents, and the main part are the habitants of Gndevaz community.  This was stated by Hayk ALoyan, the Executive Director of Lydian Armenia, during his working trip to Vayotz Dzor district.
