ArmInfo. The launching  ceremony of the "Turning Environmental Challenges into Opportunities:  Introducing Construction Materials from Plastic Waste" project took  place in Kapan on February 23, Mayor of Kapan Ashot Hayrapetyan told  reporters. One of the most important expected results of the project  is to raise the environmental consciousness and behaviour change  among population.

As the chief specialist in diary sector, PhD in Technical Science Konstantin Obyedkov noted Roquefort cheese was produced in Armenia between 1940 and 1990. Ashtarak Kat Company has initiated restarting the production of blue mold cheese of Roquefort type under "MolderBlue" brand.

The bank's press-office has informed ArmInfo that along with German Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union (NABU) ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank has launched the implementation of the project "Certification of Organic Agricultural Products". The decision on launching the project was confirmed during the forum that took place on May 22 in Yerevan.

In our previous interview, even despite the serious crisis elements in the country’s economy, you talked about a growth of the lending rate, which enabled certain increase in the GDP growth rates. Many experts still cast doubt on such statistics for some paradoxical phenomena: a growth amid falling demand, decrease in capital investment and lending rates.
