ArmInfo. As a result of cooperation between ACBA-Credit Agricole and the leading Japanese company JCB Co. International, a card issuer, it became possible to service Japanese JCB cards in Armenia. This was reported by the  Bank's press service.

ArmInfo. VTB Bank (Armenia) became the winner in the nomination "The first contactless cards in Armenia" at the "Innovation Award" forum organized by the international payment system MasterCard.

ArmInfo.Launched by VTB Bank  (Armenia) exactly one year ago, a new service "Card-to-card  transfers", through 157 ATMs of the bank for Visa cardholders,  demonstrated a progressive growth in customer demand. This was  reported by the Bank's press service.

IDBank offers its clients contactless cards payWave - Visa Classic and Visa Gold, through which cashing out of funds in ATMs of all member banks of the  ArCa system is carried out with a zero commission. Moreover, for transfers from card to card in ATMs and through virtual ArCa cards, there is also a zero fee. At the same time, a positive balance of the card account is charged up to 4% per annum.

ArmInfo. In honor of its 25th anniversary, Converse Bank, in cooperation with the Embassy of  Argentine, announces the launch of the regular Argentine Wine Week. As the press service of the Bank reports, in the period from July 2 to July 8, in the partner restaurants of Converse Bank, customers  purchasing Argentine wine Del Fin Del Mundo by cashless payment will receive a cashback of 25%.

ArmInfo.Converse Bank has finalized the results of MEET THE CHAMPIONS campaign.  The Campaign had been launched in March for MasterCard and Maestro cardholders of Converse Bank to encourage customers and to expand noncash  transactions.

As the press service  of the Bank told ArmInfo, differing specially discounted tariffs for  pensioners, these cards become safer and more profitable when they  receive pensions. Issue and maintenance of these cards is free of  charge.

ArmInfo. In Armenia, the number of plastic cards increased in the first quarter of 2018 at 14.9% per annum - up to 1.785 million units, against the decline of 10.8% a year earlier.  Adequately, the annual growth in the total volume of plastic transactions from 0.8% in the first quarter of 2017 to 38.6% in the first quarter of 2018 was dramatically accelerated, making 440.6 bln AMD. This is evidenced by the data of the Central Bank of Armenia.

 In recent years, payment business in Armenia shows unprecedented growth. This is facilitated by significant progress in its technological development, a high level of competition and quantitative and qualitative growth in the number of players. One of the leaders is EasyPay, which recently entered the market and already enveloped it not only with a large network of its payment terminals, but also offered a number of original technological and mobile solutions.
