ArmInfo.The Armenian authorities and IMF staff reached a staff- level agreement on a  3-year precautionary Stand-By Arrangement (SBA). The agreement is  subject to approval by the IMF Executive Board and is expected to be  considered in December 2022, the IMF reports.

ArmInfo.One of the most important problems facing the Armenian economy is a serious violation of the trade balance and structural imbalance of the economy.

ArmInfo.Armenia's government has  granted three companies' requests for exemption from customs duties  on the import of manufacturing equipment, spare parts and raw  materials under investment programmes in priority fields. The  requests were submitted by the MULTI FOOD, DOLOMITI and DIGI PROPERTY  companies.

During the meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Mher Grigoryan, the Chairman of the Management Board of the Eurasian Development Bank  (EDB), Nikolai Podguzov, presented the implementation of the Bank's  2022-2026 Country Strategy in the republic. ArmInfo. The Eurasian Development Bank (EADB) will allocate up to $37mln for the  construction of 11 solar power stations with a total capacity of 65  MW in the Gegharkunik and Aragatsotn provinces of Armenia.

ArmInfo.After the lifting of the embargo on the supply of Turkish goods, the volume of Turkey's exports to the Armenian market increased 10-fold to $76 million.  Tatul Manaseryan, doctor of economic sciences, professor, head of the  "Alternativv" research center, announced this at a press conference.

ArmInfo.Manufacturers-exporters, providing 20% of Armenia's GDP, are going through extremely difficult times. The sharp revaluation of the dram (from 470-480 drams at the  end of February and an increase to 520 in early March with a decline  to about 400-410 drams per $ 1) became a real test for exporters of  goods and services, as well as for investors and small local  producers.
