ArmInfo. The European Union  will continue to study the expectations of the Armenian side in the  framework of the EU transport initiative, the basis of which is TEN-T  (Trans-European Transport Network) with a total budget of 13 billion  euros.

The economic activity index returned to growth in October (by 3.0% y-o-y) after decreasing by 0.2% a month earlier. ArmInfo.The American company  Fitch Ratings confirmed the long-term ratings of the issuer default  (IDR) of Armenia in foreign and national currency at the level of "B+" with a "Positive" forecast.

ArmInfo. In January-October 2018, electricity generation in Armenia amounted to 6,429 million kWh, with a y-o-y growth of 1.8% (against an increase of 5.4% a year earlier). In October alone, output increased by 11.1% to 653 million  kWh.

Nevertheless, according to the  results of 2018, according to the EDB forecast, the growth of the  Armenian economy will remain at a rather high level and will be 5.9%  compared to 2017.

ArmInfo.The volume of cargo transportation in Armenia in January-September 2018 to the same period of the previous year increased by 7.8% - up to 21,680.7  thousand tons. Of these, 18,266 thousand tons (84.3% of the total  volume) accounted for road transport, which increased by 8.2% in  y-o-y terms, the report of the RA Statistics Committee reads.

The head of the WB Yerevan office Sylvie Bosutro said this  at a press conference on October 31. "I am glad that I can speak  globally about the good results recorded by Armenia, in the Doing  Business 2019 rating," she said.

According to the  updated World Bank forecast, the service sector and industry will be  the drivers of Armenia's GDP growth in 2018 - 6.3% and 5%  respectively, while the agricultural sector is expected to climb by  2.5%. The European Bank for  Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Green Climate Fund  (GCF) provide Ameriabank with a loan of $ 12.5 million in the  framework of the Green Economy Financing (GEFF) program. As noted in  the EBRD report, Ameriabank became the first partner of the European  Bank in Armenia to receive a loan under this program. The loan will  help SMEs and corporations to invest in green technologies.
