ArmInfo.In 2021, the investments of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in Armenia were a record-breaking- $175 million. This became  known following the meeting of  Minister of Economy of Armenia Vahan  Kerobyan with the Bank's delegation headed by Regional Director  Catarina Bjorlin Hansen .  As Vahan Kerobyan wrote on his Facebook  page, out of the indicated amount, only $20 million falls on public  programs, the remaining amount was directed to the development of the  private sector.

ArmInfo.The Ministry of Economy announced the launch of a program to assist the textile industry in Armenia. According to the press service of the Ministry,  the program is being implemented in Armenia with the financing of the  "Good Governance Fund" of the United Kingdom government, with the  support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development  (EBRD), in cooperation with the Business Assistance Office. The  program is aimed at the sustainable, inclusive development of the  textile industry in Armenia.

ArmInfo. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is providing a EUR 5 million financial support package to Armeconombank in Armenia to facilitate  the private sector's transition to more sustainable, low-carbon and  climate-resilient practices.

According to an EBRD report, loans are provided under the SME Competitiveness Programme in  Eastern Partnership (EaP SMEC).

ArmInfo. On the eve of the New Year, Ameriabank launched 2 unprecedented offers on business loans with a six-month grace period, which exempted the principal and  interest payments. Director Retail Banking at Ameriabank CJSC Arman  Barseghyan announced this in the evening of December 9 during a press  conference, noting that the grace period established within the  framework of these offers will allow business entities to reduce the  credit burden and direct funds available for this time to business  development.
