The World Bank has improved its forecast for GDP growth in Armenia for 2023 from the  previous 4.1% to the updated 4.4% (against the actual 12.6% growth in 2022), expecting an acceleration in 2024 to 4.8% and up to 5%. in 2025). The European Bank for Reconstruction and Developmemnt (EBRD) has improved the GDP growth  forecast from 4% to 5%, with the same GDP growth rate expected in 2024 (against the previously forecast 4.8%), according to the EBRD Regional Economic Prospects in the EBRD Regions. High inflation weighs on purchasing power of households."

By the signing of an agreement on the establishment of a free trade zone with Iran, the  EAEU expects to increase the volume of trade from the current $6 billion to $20 billion within 5-7 years, Andrey Slepnev, Minister for Trade of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), said on May 12  during a press conference the format of a Moscow - Minsk - Astana - Bishkek - Yerevan video bridge. "These are quite real numbers," he stressed.
