ArmInfo. The "Spayka" company will implement another investment program worth 26.5 billion drams ($ 54.8 million)in Armenia. In order to implement the project, the RA government at the December 20 meeting released the company from customs payments for import of technological equipment, raw materials and other materials.
As noted in the documents of the government, the company intends to expand the production of agricultural processing. The project envisages the import from abroad of refrigerated trailers, tractors, and milk powder. The implementation of the program, noted in the government decision, will allow attracting new investments, creating additional jobs. To recall, in September of this year, Andrey Belyaninov, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Development Bank, reported on the Bank's intentions to provide up to $ 70 million to the "Spayka" company. "The EDB plans to invest in agriculture in Armenia, the money will be allocated to engaged in production, processing, transportation and sale of agricultural products to the markets of other countries, primarily Russia, "Spayka" company, "the head of the EDB noted.
