"Areximbank - Gasprombank group" enters leasing market


ArmInfo. "Areximbank - Gasprombank group" is going to start implementing the leasing operations over the current year, deputy director general of "Areximbank-GPG" Vigen Barsegyan told ArmInfo correspondent.

He also added that such an intention of the bank is conditioned by the new strategy of the bank development till 2012, according to which the bank will draw great attention to assisting technological development of enterprises. "It is no secret that the Armenian leasing market is not big, nevertheless there is not so small number of big projects which we watch like our potential customers", - Barsegyan said and added that at present the bask has been studying this segment of the market.

To note, at present the following leasing companies have been acting in Armenia: ACBA Leasing, AGRO Leasing, UNILeasing and VTB-Leasing, the aggregate portfolio of which amounted to 62.8 bln drams at the beginning of 2010.
