Areximbank - GPB Group expected to increase private transfers 65% till 2012
ArmInfo. Areximbank - GPB Group is expected to increase private transfers 65% till 2012 to 40.4bn drams. Ruben Khachatryan, Deputy Director General of Areximbank-GPB Group, told ArmInfo such forecast is available in the bank's new development strategy for 2012. He said that the share of private transfers from Armenia will amount 22,6bn drams, transfers to Armenia will total 17.8bn drams.
Ruben Khachatryan pointed out that till the end of 2010 turnover of private transfers at the bank will total almost 35.1bn drams, including transfers to Armenia will amount to 15.4bn drams and from Armenia - 19.7bn drams. The bank made a total of 29.3bn drams transfers through various payment systems in early 2010 and 24.4bn drams in early 2009.
The bank operates on the international payment systems Contact, Leader, Bistraya Pochta, and MoneyGram. The sole owner of Armeximbank-GBP Group is Gazprombank OJSC (Russia).
