Activeness in property market grew by 12.6% in 2010
ArmInfo. In 2010 a total of 173,983 transactions were carried out in the property market of Armenia (12.6% annual growth), say the reports of the Armenian State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre.
According to the source, by geographical distribution, the maximum share falls on the capital (32% of total transactions). In late 2010 Chairman of the State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre Yervand Zakharyan said that as compared with previous years, in 2010 the geography of the property market activeness changed and now in the regions more transactions are registered than in the capital.
According to the annual report, in the total number of transactions with property the biggest share of regional transactions fell on Kotayk region (13.1%) and Lori region (10.3%). The most passive region was Vayots Dzor (2.4%).
45,353 real estate alienation transactions were carried out in 2010 - 26.1% of total real estate transactions: 80.2% - buying-selling, 18.9% - granting, 0.9% - exchange. 13,119 real estate buying-selling transactions were carried out in Yerevan - 12.8% more than in 2009.
Primary registration made up 15.8% of real estate transactions, descent - 10.4%, pawn - 13%, leasing - 5.9%, privatization - 0.01%, state registration of real estate - 28.8%.
