Assets of Armenian insurance companies grow almost twofold
ArmInfo. The assets of Armenian insurance companies have grow almost twofold and amounted to 32.030 bln drams by the end of the 1Q 2011. In the 1Q 2011 the insurance companies increased their assets by 32,3%.
According to the Ranking of Armenian insurance companies prepared by Arminfo, among 9 insurance companies functioning at the market the insurance company "Rosgosstrakh-Armenia" is the first with a volume of assets with an indicator - 6.975 bln drams (growth by threefold). Then comes "INGO Armenia" - 5.260 bln drams (growth by more than twofold versus 1Q 2010). The next is "RESO" - 3.6 bln drams (growth by threefold), and the insurance company "Cascade Insurance", the assets of which grew almost twofold versus 1Q 2010 and according to the results of the 1Q amounted 3.319 bln drams. The insurance company "Nairi Insurance" has occupied the fifth place with a volume of assets 3.309 bln drams. "Garant Limens" has occupied the sixth place with the indicator 2.9 bln drams (growth by 78,8% versus 1Q 2010), the seventh is "RASCO" with a volume of assets 2.361 bln drams, the ninth - "Sil Insurance" - 2.181 bln drams and "ISG" insurance company is the last one with an indicator - 2.084 bln drams.
In the structure of assets of Armenian insurance companies the capital assets amounted to 1.535 bln drams (growth by 32,7% versus 4Q 2010, and almost twofold versus 1Q 2010); the monetary funds - 49 mln drams (growth by 6,7 times versus 4Q 2010 and by 2,6 times versus 1Q 2010); the accounts receivable - 1.6 bln drams (growth by 9% versus 4Q 2010, and by more than fourfold versus 1Q 2010). The share of the dram assets was 68,8% or 22 bln drams, and of the foreign currency ones - 31,2% or 9.9 bln drams.
