"Areximbank-Gasprombank group" and Central Bank sing contract on participation in the WB programme on SME crediting


Arminfo. On 30 August "Areximbank-Gasprombank group" and Central Bank singed a contract on participation in the WB programme on SME crediting.

As press-service of "Areximbank-Gasprombank group" reported, the bank thinks that development of small and medium-sized business is one of the prospective directions of its activity.

"For the last period of time the bank much increased the SME crediting volumes within the frames of the refinancing programme of Armenian Central Bank. And according to the results of 2010, it entered the leading three on SME crediting . It has been actively cooperating with international financial organizations, including the German KfW bank in this direction", - the bank reported.

The bank is also an active participant in the mortgage crediting within the programme of KfW bank and IFAD.

According to the results of the first half of 2011, "Areximbank - Gasprombank group" has already ensured growth of the credit portfolio by 30% - up to 63 bln drams. The share of the credit portfolio in the structure of assets was 78%. The assets of the bank grew by more than 20% over4 the reported six months having amounted in absolute term to 80.5 bln drams.
