Real estate transactions in Armenia up 9.5% for 9 months of 2011
ArmInfo. A total of 136,431 real estate transactions were made in Armenia for 9 months of 2011, with a 9.5% Y-o-Y growth, the State Committee of Real Estate Register of Armenia told ArmInfo.
The source reported that 32.5% of total transactions were registered in Yerevan. The biggest number of regional transactions was registered in Kotayk region - 13.5% and Gegharkunik region - 8.4% of total. 76.8% of total 35060 transactions on real estate alienation (up 6.9% versus 9 months of 2010) was the share of purchase-and-sale transactions, 22.5% was the share of donation, and 0.6% - exchange. 38.2% of total transactions on alienation were registered in Yerevan, with 38.7% being multi-apartment residential buildings. The multi-apartment residential buildings purchase-and-sale transactions in Yerevan totaled 11079 or 67.6% of total, with 11% growth versus 9 months of 2010.
Private houses purchase and sale transactions for 9 months of 2011 totaled 3642, with 961 in Yerevan and 2681 in the regions. Total number of private houses purchase and sale transactions fell 4.6% versus the same period of 2010, amid 4.7% growth of the given indicator in Yerevan. In the regions, this indicator fell 7.6%.
The share of primary registration in the structure of real estate transactions was 16.5%, transfer of real estate heritably made up 12.3%, mortgage transactions - 13.8%, and leasing totaled 4.5%. Other state registrations of real estate totaled and alienation of real estate made up 27.2% and 25.7% of total, respectively.
