Unibank sets up 5 new promo points at Orange sales outlets
ArmInfo. In November 2011 Unibank set up 5 new promo points at the sales outlets of Orange Armenia, the press service of the Bank told ArmInfo.
According to the source, the employees of the promo points explain the terms and procedure of provision of loans for purchase of mobile telephones. There is a wide range of smartphones and cellular phones of well- known brands: Apple, BlackBerry, Alcatel, Samsung, HTC and Nokia.
According to Unibank, the consumer loans at the Orange sales outlets are provided for 2 years at the interest rate of 18% p.a., and the loan amount does not exceed 600 thsd AMD. There is no advance payment, and the opening and service of the account are free. To receive the loan, it is necessary to present one's passport, social card and a statement of employment.
Orange Armenia has 79 sales outlets, sells smart-phones and notebooks in 59 of them and has promo points in 15.
As of today Unibank has promo points in Kaizer supermarket, Nix, Fine, Mobile Centre and M&S stores, Aviatrans and Happy Voyage travel agency.
As of Sept 30 2011 Unibank's private lending portfolio totaled 24.3bln AMD.
Orange Armenia is 100% subsidiary of France Telecom. The company was set up in Nov 2009. In 2010 it invested 140mln EUR and $50mln in Armenia's mobile network.
