Loss ratio of compulsory motor third-party liability insurance in Armenia reached 54% in late Nov 2011
ArmInfo. In Jan-Oct 2011 Armenia's insurance companies paid 4.8bln AMD in compulsory motor third-party liability insurance compensation.
According to the Bureau of Motor Insurers of Armenia, during the period they satisfied 22,383 applications.
The amount of pending payments totals 1.079bln AMD. Thus, Dec 1 2011 the loss ratio of compulsory motor third-party liability insurance in Armenia reached 54%.
Rosgosstrakh Armenia is the 1st with 1.6bln AMD paid in compensation, followed by INGO Armenia - 877.3mln AMD and RESO - 624.8mln AMD. Nairi Insurance is the 4th (522.4mln AMD, Garant Limens the 5th (374.1mln AMD), followed by Cascade Insurance (285.5mln AMD), Sil Insurance (225.8mln AMD) and RASCO (220.4mln AMD).
The Bureau paid 78.4mln AMD (129 events).
382,359 drivers have compulsory motor third-party liability insurance policies in Armenia, with 14.2bln AMD paid by them so far.
Rosgosstakh Armenia is the 1st in terms of collected premiums (4.7bln AMD), followed by INGO Armenia (2.5bln AMD), RESO (1.9bln AMD), Nairi Insurance (1.8bln AMD), Garant Limens (993.8mln AMD), Cascade Insurance (861.6mln AMD), RASCO (809.2mln AMD) and Sil Insurance (615.6mln AMD).
