ArmInfo. Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine tops the list of the biggest tax payers of Armenia in 2011.
The State Income Committee of Armenia reports that last year that company paid 29.8bln in taxes and continues being in the lead this year due to high metal prices worldwide and growing revenues.
The second biggest tax payer in 2011 was ArmRusgasprom - 21.8bln AMD. The third was K-Telecom (VivaCell brand) - 17.7bln AMD.
The fourth was Alex Grig, owned by MP Samvel Alexanyan - 17.7bln AMD, the fifth was ArmenTel - 12.6bln AMD, followed by City Petrol Group (10.5bln AMD), Flash (10.4bln AMD), the Electric Networks of Armenia (9.6bln AMD), Philip Morris Armenia (6.3bln AMD) and Armenia International Airports (5.9bln AMD).
The Armenian Nuclear Power Plant dropped out of the top ten for the first time ever, with just 4bln AMD paid.
