Insurance assets of Armenian companies up 23,4% to $82.1 mln in 2011
Arminfo. The aggregate assets of the eight functioning insurance companies grew by 23,4% up to 31.7 bln drams ($82.1 mln) in 2011. In the 4Q the assets grew about 10%.
According to the Ranking of Armenian insurance companies prepared by Arminfo, in 2011 7 out of 8 insurance companies ensured growth of assets. The leading three are: the insurance company "INGO Armenia" (growth by 71,2%), "Nairi Insurance" (by 32,8%) and "Rosgostrarakh - Armenia" - by 26,2%. The dropping of the assets was fixed only in the insurance company "RESO" - by 13,5%.
The share of the current assets in the structure of assets was 90,6% or 28.7 bln drams. This indicator grew by 26% versus 2010 and by 9,1% for the 4Q. 7 out of 8 insurance companies ensured the growth of the current assets versus 2010 and 6 companies - the growth versus the 4Q. The share of the current financial investments was 72,2% or 22.8 bln drams. Since the beginning of the year this indicator has grown by 40,7%, and by 18,1% for a quarter. The leading three by the volume of the current financial investments are: "INGO Armenia" with the indicator 6.1 bln drams, "Rosgosstrakh- Armenia" - 4.3 bln drams and "Cascade Insurance" - 2.6 bln drams. The minimal size of the current financial investments was fixed at "Sil Insurance" - 1.2 bln drams. ¤а ®ў.
The short-term accounts receivable of 8 insurance companies amounted to 3.7 bln drams by the results of 2011. This indicator grew by 29,3% versus 2010 and dropped by 7,6% for the 4Q. The maximal volume of the short-term accounts receivable was fixed at "Rosgosstrakh-Armenia" - 920.2 mln drams and the minimal one at "Sil Insurance" - 100.1 mln drams.
As of 1 January 2012 the share of the monetary funds and their equivalents in the total assets was 5,1% or 1.6 bln drams. This indicator dropped by 55,2% versus 2010 and grew twofold for the 4Q. The leader is - "Rosgostrakh-Armenia" - 576.6 mln drams, and the minimal size was fixed at the insurance company "RASKO" - 44.3 mln drams.
