Prime Minister of Armenia receives a delegation of German Commerzbank
ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received a delegation of Commerzbank (Germany) headed by Christof Gabriel Maetze, Global Head of Financial Institutions. The press service of the Government told ArmInfo that during the meeting the guests presented the activity of the bank to Sargsyan, spoke on the cooperation with Armenian partners and discussed issues related to the economic situation in Europe.
At the request of the German delegation, Tigran Sargsyan presented the economic policy of Armenia and the directions of its development, and dwelled on the strategy of industrial policy and programs.
Christof Gabriel Maetze pointed out that the customers of Commerzbank are the organizations, which are actively engaged in the spheres included in the strategy and are interested in possible investments. The sides agreed to hold a business forum in Germany.
To note, Commerzbank was founded in 1870 in Frankfurt am Main on the initiative of Theodor Wille, a Hamburg international merchant. The Bank's assets amount to nearly 400 billion EUR.
