All insurance companies of Armenia among largest taxpayers for 1 half of 2012
ArmInfo. The top 1000 largest taxpayers of Armenia for the first half of 2012 include all the players of the in Armenian insurance market. INGO Armenia is in the lead among them. It held the 197th position, having transferred 225.9 mln AMD to the state budget, with 219.6 mln AMD of this amount being profit and income taxes.
According to the Armenian State Revenue Committee, the following insurance companies rank next: Rosgosstrakh Armenia (200th position) with 222.4 mln AMD, including 197.1 mln AMD profit and income taxes; Nairi Insurance (234th position) with 186 mln AMD, including 182 mln AMD profit and income taxes; RESO (290th position) with 144.9 mln AMD, including 143.2 mln AMD profit and income taxes; Cascade Insurance (455th position) with 94.2 mln AMD, including 91.2 mln AMD profit and income taxes; RASCO (541st position) with 76.2 mln AMD, including ¢ 72.7 mln AMD; Garant-Limens (601st position) with 66.5 mln AMD, including 62.5 mln AMD profit and income taxes; Sil Insurance (993rd position) with 35.9 mln AMD, including 32.8 mln AMD profit and income taxes.
To note, in Q1 2012 the top 1000 largest taxpayers of Armenia included 7 insurance companies: Rosgosstrakh Armenia (206th position), INGO Armenia (221st position), Nairi Insurance (228th position), RESO (363rd position), Cascade Insurance (386th position), Garant Limens (621st position), RASCO (877th position). In June 2012 Cascade Insurance left the insurance market via merger with INGO Armenia.
