Financial Ombudsperson of Armenia highly estimates cooperation with VTB Bank (Armenia)
ArmInfo. Financial Ombudsperson of Armenia Piruz Sargsyan highly estimated the cooperation with VTB Bank (Armenia) and awarded a merit certificate "The Best Partner Bank 2012" to it at today's event dedicated to the 4th anniversary of the Financial Ombudspeson's Office.
Director General, Chairman of Directorate of VTB Bank (Armenia) Yuri Gusev said: "We are grateful to the Armenian Financial Ombudsperson's Office for the high assessment of our mutually beneficial cooperation". He expressed hope for continuation of successful cooperation for the welfare of their common interests.
The Financial Ombudsperson's Office in Armenia was the first in the CIS. It was established on 24 Nov 2009. The activities of the structure aim to protect the rights and interests of the Armenian banking system's customers, as well as to consider their complaints efficiently and free of charge and to enhace the public confidence in the financial system of the republic.
To note, during the same event the Financial Ombudsperson also awarded merit certificates for the best cooperation in 2012 to ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank, Ardshininvestbank, as well as to Rosgosstrakh Armenia and INGO Armenia insurance companies. The best partners should have the following criteria: the level of cooperation in the process of revising complaints, the big share of cases settled peacefully as well as the display of good will when paying compensations in such cases when the demand of a client to pay compensation had to be refused.
To note, VTB Bank (Armenia) CJSC became a member of VTB Group in April 2004. VTB Bank OJSC, the second largest bank in Russia, owns 100% of VTB Bank (Armenia). At the moment the latter has the largest branch network in Armenia - 69 branches, including 2 mini branches.
