11 banks among top hundred taxpayers of Armenia in Q1 2014
ArmInfo. 11 out of the 21 commercial banks of Armenia found themselves among the top hundred taxpayers in Armenia in Q1 2014. The top 5 banks are ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank, VTB Bank (Armenia), HSBC Bank Armenia, Ardshininvestbank and Unibank.
According to the State Revenue Committee of Armenia, ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank was the 17th on the list of the top hundred taxpayers. The Bank transferred 1.187 bln AMD to the state budget (including 1.149 bln AMD in profit and income taxes). VTB Bank (Armenia) was the 22nd with 1.043 bln AMD (including 923.6 mln AMD in profit and income taxes). HSBC Bank Armenia held the 28th position with 850 mln AMD (including 753.7 mln AMD in profit and income taxes). Ardshininvestbank was the 33rd. It transferred 731.4 mln AMD (including 710.2 mln AMD in profit and income taxes). Unibank was the 37th with 714.7 mln AMD (including 672.1 mln AMD in profit and income taxes).
Among the top hundred taxpayers of Armenia, Ameriabank was the 38th with 711.6 mln AMD (including 695.5 mln AMD in profit and income taxes), Armbusinessbank was the 50th with 545.2 mln AMD (including 478.8 mln AMD in profit and income taxes), ARARATBANK was the 63rd with 454.2 mln AMD (including 441.6 mln AMD in profit and income taxes), INECOBANK was the 66th with 441.1 mln AMD (including 432 mln in profit and income taxes), Converse Bank was the 76th with 377.8 mln AMD (including 320.3 mln AMD in profit and income taxes), and Armeconombank was the 88th with 336.9 mln AMD (including 318.9 mln AMD in profit and income taxes).
As regards the other banks, Prometey Bank held the 107th position with 261.8 mln AMD (including 258.5 mln AMD in profit and income taxes), Areximbank-Gazprombank Group was the 119th with 235.4 mln AMD (including 810.8 mln AMD in profit and income taxes), Armenian Development Bank was the 121st with 228.3 mln AMD (including 225.5 mln AMD in profit and income taxes), Anelik Bank was the 130th with 208.7 mln AMD (including 197.2 mln AMD in profit and income taxes), ProCredit Bank was the 157th with 167.2 mln AMD (including 106.2 mln AMD in profit and income taxes), Armswissbank was the 162nd with 164.7 mln AMD (including 158.8 mln AMD in profit and income taxes).
Byblos Bank Armenia was ranked 224th with 113.3 mln AMD (including 101.8 mln AMD in profit and income taxes), Artsakhbank was the 456th with 54.4 mln AMD (including 36.9 mln AMD in profit and income taxes), BTA Bank was the 496th with 49.6 mln AMD (including 48.6 mln AMD in profit and income taxes), and Mellat Bank was the 588th with 39.7 mln AMD (including 36.3 mln AMD in profit and income taxes).
According to the Financial Rating of Armenian Banks by the Agency of Rating Marketing Information (ArmInfo), in Q1 2014 the top five banks in terms of accumulated profit were Ardshininvestbank - 25.4 bln AMD, HSBC Bank Armenia - 22 bln AMD, VTB Bank (Armenia) - 19.1 bln AMD, ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank - 14.2 bln AMD and INECOBANK - 13 bln AMD.
