ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank is ranked the second in terms of branch network in Armenia. The Central
Bank of Armenia (CBA) registered a new branch of ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank in Yerevan - "Sayat-Nova". The new branch inclusive, the number of the Bank's branches in Yerevan is 14. The CBA press office has told ArmInfo that the CBA chairman took the relevant decision on April 29. The opening ceremony of the branch is scheduled for May 5.
As of May 4, the total number of ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank's branches is 55, including 14 in Yerevan and 41 in all provinces of Armenia. The "Ani" (Gyumri) and "Metsamor" (Metsamor) branches were opened on 24-26 Feb 2015. The Bank will keep expanding its branch network both in Yerevan and in the provinces. The Bank will open another branch in Yerevan in May 2015 and several more branches in the provinces throughout 2015. With the new branches to be opened in the provinces, the Bank will take the lead in the banking market of the country in terms of the branch network.
"ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank" CJSC has been operating in Armenia since 1995. Since September 2006, the majority shareholders of the Bank have been Credit Agricole S.A. (15.56%) and SJSC "Sacam
International" (part of Credit Agricole S.A - 12.44%). Along with them, 10 agricultural cooperative unions hold shares in the capital of ACBA- Credit Agricole Bank.
