ArmInfo. ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank and American Express have launched a joint prize project for AmEx cardholders. The press office of the Bank has told ArmInfo that the project kicked off on October 15,2015, and will be over on January 15, 2016.
The source says that the American Express Gold, American Express Blue and American Express Cashback cardholders, who make payments and shopping worth at least 300,000 AMD in Armenia and abroad within the specified period, can become the prizewinners.

Those who wish to take part in the project but lack American Express cards can apply to ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank and acquire an American Express Gold card, an American Express Blue card or an American Express Cashback card, which will allow them to win one of the prizes.

According to ArmInfo's analytical review "Armenian Banks in the Card Business," ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank is among TOP-3 banks by the number of active cards - nearly 117,000 as of April 1, 2015, with a 13% year over year growth and nearly twofold growth for the last four years. ArCa local cards account for 58% of total cards of the Bank, Visa International cards account for 32% of total, and MasterCard - 10%. In 2014, the amount of the transactions with plastic cards exceeded 166 bln AMD (up 20% versus 2013, 2- fold growth over the past 4 years), with 78% of them being ATM transactions. ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank retains leadership by the number of its own POS-terminals, (1152) and ATMs (207). In October 2014, ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank and American Express re-concluded the cooperation agreement (initially signed in November 2010) and retained the status of an exclusive agent of American Express in Armenia. It will keep issuing the AmEx cards and taking measures to expand the card servicing infrastructure. At present, the Bank issues 3 types of ?mEx cards: American Express Gold, American Express Blue and American Express CashBack. The data on these cards are not made public due to the confidentiality.
