ArmInfo. 25.3% of students consider unemployment to be the key problem in Armenia, according to the survey conducted by IPSC at the request of the Armenian Ministry of Education and Science. The findings of the survey were presented in Yerevan on October 28.
The survey says 20% of the students think the key problem in Armenia is poverty, 19.8% - lack of security, 19.6% - insufficient economic development, 19.3% - migration and labor migration, 4.6% - corruption, 5% - low quality of education.
58.8% of the students agree that each person is responsible for his/her own economic condition. 27.7% of the respondents say that the key reason of poverty is injustice, and 12.1% - the poverty of the country itself.
33% of the respondents think it natural that the wealthy and those at power violate the laws with impunity, "because everyone will behave so if wealthy and at power." 66.6% of the students disagree with that opinion.
The survey was conducted in May-June 2015. A total of 1,221 students of the Yerevan-based state higher education establishments were interviewed.
