ArmInfo. As many as 1.19 million Armenians traveled to Georgia in the period from January to October 2015, the Black Sea Press reports citing the Georgian Interior Ministry Information Department. The total number of tourists that visited Georgia for the period under review was 1,979,405 people, which is by 1.8% more than for the same period of 2014.
Since the beginning of the year, 4,995,489 people visited Georgia (up 6.8% y-o-y). According to the Armenian National Statistical Service, in July-Sept 2015 409,296 people left Armenia (down 0.2% y-o-y). In Apr-Jul 2015 - 205,326 people left Armenia (up 0.3% y-o-y). 256,917 people arrived in Armenia for the period under review (up 1.8% y-o-y). According to the source, 29.4% of totals tourists were from CIS, 29.5% - from EU, and 41% in other countries.
